Bournemouth agree deal in principle for midfielder Toth

Bournemouth have agreed a £10.4m deal in principle to sign Ferencvaros midfielder Alex Toth.

The Hungarian club are also set to receive a further £2.6m in add‑ons, with Toth expected to travel to the south coast in the coming days to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms.

Toth, a defensive midfielder, has played all his club football in Hungary and spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Soroksar.

The 20-year-old, who has nine Hungary caps, made his debut for Ferencvaros in December 2024 and has featured 25 times for the league champions this season.

He would be Bournemouth's third signing of the January window after goalkeeper Fraser Forster and defender Ade Solanke.
