BREAKING: Arsenal handed second injury blow during Leeds United clash amid Mikel Arteta nightmare

7 hours ago 3

Arsenal have suffered a second injury blow during their match against Leeds United with goalscorer Bukayo Saka leaving the field after pulling up mid-run.

Saka had got off the mark for the 2025/26 campaign when he doubled the lead for Mikel Arteta's side before the break. He thrashed a strike across goal and beyond the helpless Lucas Perri.

However, tragedy struck the Gunners in the second-half when Saka was forced off with what appears as if it could be a left hamstring problem.

The 23-year-old was making a darting run toward the Leeds penalty area under pressure when he pulled up with discomfort. He required immediate on-field treatment before Arteta was forced into a change, bringing Leandro Trossard on.

The injury came after Martin Odegaard was forced off with a problem of his own. The Arsenal captain had to be substituted because of what appeared to be a shoulder problem.
