Axel Disasi has left Chelsea and joined West Ham United on loan.
Disasi, 27, has been on the fringes in west London ever since he failed to depart the club in the summer transfer window. He has been playing in the Blues' Under-21s side in a bid to maintain his fitness, with opportunities under Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior non-existent.
Though Liverpool have beaten Chelsea to the signature of French central defender Jeremy Jacquet, Disasi has still joined West Ham on loan until the end of the season with Mamadou Sarr recalled from his loan at Strasbourg.

It's understood he underwent a medical in east London this evening and that there will be no specific clauses or obligations within the deal. As was the case when he was loaned to Aston Villa this time last season, the move to the London Stadium does not necessarily mean Disasi's time at Stamford Bridge is over.
He could yet return to the fold under Rosenior with the Chelsea head coach speaking highly of him last month upon his return to training.

He said: "My decision on Axel, I had a really good meeting with him a couple of days ago. I wanted to catch up with him, see where he was in terms of his career.
"I said to the players, it's one thing saying things, it's another thing living that. I said to the players when I came in, it's a clean slate for everybody.
"So it was only right for me to have a conversation with him. Really good conversation. I got to know him really, really well. It was the right thing to be back involved with the group.
"Because of the situation he's been in, he's behind in terms of his fitness, his match fitness, and we'll keep working with him really, really hard to get him up to speed."
Disasi's move to West Ham means this will not be the case, at least this season. Ironically, his move has been confirmed, barely 48 hours after the Blues dramatically overcame the Hammers 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.
Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville gave the east Londoners a 2-0 lead, going into half time. But Joao Pedro, Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernandez found the net in the second half to secure a dramatic triumph for Rosenior's team.
Shipping goals had been a huge issue for Nuno Espirito Santo's side this season and he will be hoping Disasi's arrival can stop the east Londoners from leaking goals. The last time West Ham kept a clean sheet in the Premier League was back in August, when they overcame Nottingham Forest 3-0 at the City Ground.
Disasi will also be hoping he can resurrect his career at the London Stadium and maybe even make a late bid to force his way into the French international team before this summer's World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada. In the 2022 competition, he came off the bench in the World Cup final in France's penalty shoot-out loss to Argentina.
