Enzo Maresca has provided an injury update on Pedro Neto and Romeo Lavia ahead of Chelsea's clash with Wolves on Saturday evening.
Lavia limped off in the opening exchanges of the Blues' draw with Qarabag on Wednesday evening with a quad injury, while Neto did not travel with the rest of the squad to Azerbaijan after suffering a knock in the days before.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday morning, Maresca said on Lavia: "We don't have an update at the moment. We need to wait some hours for all of the checks he needs. At the moment, he is injured. He is in pain - we need to do all the checks."
On Neto, the Italian added: "Pedro had a session with the physio yesterday on the pitch, it was good. Today he will train with us and we will make the final decision."
Lavia will almost certainly play no part in the match against Wolves on Saturday, which will lick-off at 8pm UK time. Neto, though, seemingly could be included in the matchday squad if he gets through Friday's training session.
