Jeremie Frimpong has handed a fresh injury worry for Liverpool ahead of the Reds' return to action against Manchester City in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The right-back came off the bench at half-time of the Netherlands' friendly against Ecuador on Tuesday, having replaced Liverpool teammate Cody Gakpo. He lasted just 13 minutes before being brought back off though, with concerns now lingering over his fitness ahead of his return to Merseyside.
Frimpong has already had two injury lay-offs this season, having picked up a hamstring problem against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League in October before suffering another muscle strain against Qarabag in January.
