BREAKING: Jeremie Frimpong injury blow deepens Liverpool worries after just 3 minutes vs Qarabag

6 days ago 34

Liverpool has been dealt yet another injury blow, with Jeremie Frimpong the latest to add to Arne Slot's worries after just three minutes against Qarabag in the Champions League.

The Dutchman started at right-back once again in the absence of Conor Bradley, who is out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on a knee problem. Just moments into the Reds' final league phase game at Anfield though, Frimpong pulled up and looked to be holding his hamstring.

His teammates indicated to the bench that a substitution was needed, with Wataru Endo replacing him as Frimpong looked distraught as he made his way off the pitch.
