A man accused of ploughing his car into Liverpool fans during the club's Premier League title parade has pleaded not guilty to 31 charges.
Paul Doyle, a former Royal Marine, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday via a video link over the incident during the parade on May 26.
The incident occurred on Water Street in Liverpool city centre, where around a million supporters are believed to have gathered to celebrate the 20th league title success. The suspect was arrested at the scene with some fans trapped under the car and dozens taken to hospital.
Merseyside Police said 134 people were injured after Mr Doyle, 53, allegedly drove his car into crowds but there were no casualties.
He is alleged to have 'used his vehicle deliberately as a weapon' but has denied all 31 charges.
Mr Doyle was originally charged with seven offences after footage showed him allegedly driving his Ford Galaxy vehicle into supporters. A further 24 charges were added to the indictment last month.
They include 18 counts of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, nine counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of wounding with intent and one count of dangerous driving.
