Martin Odegaard has suffered yet another injury blow as Arsenal looks to gain an advantage over Liverpool in the Premier League title race.
With the Reds facing Chelsea in the later kick-off on Saturday, Mikel Arteta's side had the chance to leapfrog their rivals and pile the pressure on Arne Slot's team, who will be looking to return to winning ways after back-to-back defeats against Crystal Palace and Galatasaray.
The Gunners though were handed an early blow in their clash with West Ham as their captain was forced off during the first half. Odegaard required treatment after a clash of knees with Crysencio Summerville, and despite trying to carry on playing, was withdrawn just before the half-hour mark for Martin Zubimendi.
