BREAKING: Mohamed Salah locker room apology revealed after explosive Liverpool outburst

1 hour ago 34

Mohamed Salah apologized to his Liverpool teammates following his outburst earlier this month, Curtis Jones has revealed.

Salah launched an extraordinary tirade against the club and head coach Arne Slot following the Reds’ 3-3 draw at Leeds - in which the Egyptian had been named on the bench for a third game in a row.

He accused the club of throwing him “under the bus” and suggested someone at Anfield was trying to drive him out, while also claiming that his relationship with Slot had broken down. Salah was subsequently dropped from the squad for the Champions League game against Inter Milan before returning against Brighton last weekend, following talks with Slot.

Jones has now revealed that Salah offered an apology to his teammates for his outburst.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the midfielder said: "Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff.

“He apologised to us and was like, 'If I've affected anybody or made you feel any sort of way, I apologise'. That's the man that he is.”
