Brennan Johnson could be set to make a move in the January transfer window, as reports claim Tottenham have agreed a deal to sell the winger to Crystal Palace in the coming weeks. A £35m fee has been quoted for the Welshman, who has struggled for game time under new boss Thomas Frank.
Johnson joined Tottenham from Nottingham Forest in 2023, paying £47.5m to land the forward as part of their project for Ange Postecoglou. There was an immediate impact from him, as the summer recruit found himself among the goals regularly for Spurs.
His high energy in pressing and ability to find space at the back post regularly made him a threat and maximised his ability. In the end, Johnson was the player to end the club's wait for a trophy, scoring the winning goal in the Europa League final to beat Manchester United - adding some gloss to an otherwise dismal 2024/25 campaign.
That wasn't enough for Postecoglou to keep his job, and his exit ushered in a new era with Frank at the helm. In the Dane's time so far, he has yet to give Johnson many opportunities, and that has now paved the way for a possible exit in January.
So, with that said, here's a look back at Johnson's best moments for Tottenham as he closes in on a transfer to Crystal Palace in the coming weeks.
