Brentford vs Liverpool LIVE: Team news, build-up, how to watch, TV channel

1 week ago 9

Liverpool is looking for its first Premier League win in four games today as it makes the trip to London to take on Brentford.

The Reds finally brought their dismal losing streak to an end in midweek as they thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 in the Champions League. Now, they need to get their title defense back on track.

Arne Slot's side has fallen four points behind current leader Arsenal in the early stages of the season, but they have the chance to narrow the gap to just one before Mikel Arteta's side faces Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The Liverpool boss will be forced into at least one change following that win in Frankfurt, with Jeremie Frimpong ruled out through injury, while fans will be keen to see whether Alexander Isak and Ryan Gravenberch will be fit to return.

And there will be plenty of eyes on Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian having been dropped to the bench in Germany, and having shown signs of discontentment on social media afterwards.

The Reds will be coming up against a few familiar faces today, with Jordan Henderson, Caoimhin Kelleher, Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho all in the running to face their old team.
