Hello and welcome to football.london for live updates of Chelsea's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.
The Blues are looking to end a run of four straight league defeats, as well as six losses in their last seven matches in all competitions, tonight. To do that, they will have to perform strongly against an in-form Brighton side, who have lost just one of their last six matches in the Premier League.
Liam Rosenior's side cannot afford to lose any further ground in the race for Champions League qualification. Chelsea can reduce the gap to fifth-place Liverpool to four points should they defeat the Seagulls later on, although the Reds will have a game in hand (Saturday afternoon's match with Crystal Palace at Anfield).
Joao Pedro will face a late fitness test after missing the defeat to Manchester United with a thigh injury, while Estevao Willian will be absent for the trip down to the south coast after coming off in the first half at the weekend. For Brighton, Fabian Hurzeler will be without Diego Gomez, Solly March and James Milner, but Kaoru Mitoma is set to be fit for the visit of Chelsea.
Kick-off at the Amex is at 8pm (UK time). Bobby Vincent is live on the south coast to bring you consistent updates throughout the night!
