The two England internationals have impressed for Arsenal this season and shared messages after the excellent Champions League win against Bayern Munich

Bukayo Saka was among a number of Arsenal players to respond to Noni Madueke's brilliant eight-word message after defeating Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The Gunners moved to the top of the Champions League league phase as goals from Jurrien Timber, Madueke, and Gabriel Martinelli gave Mikel Arteta's side an important three points.

Arsenal have won all five of their Champions League games this season, conceding just once, and that came in the win over Bayern, with Lennart Karl scoring for Vincent Kompany's side.

Madueke, who has only recently returned from injuries, shared images on Instagram of him scoring and celebrating his first goal for the club alongside William Saliba and other teammates.

He captioned the pictures: "Thank you God for this brotherhood you’ve created. [Red love heart]"

Saka responded to his teammate with two emojis: one applauding and one heart. Others were also quick to react.

Declan Rice said: "Couldn’t be happier for you bro." While Eberechi Eze and Martinelli both commented love hearts on the post.

Centre-half duo Saliba and Cristhian Mosquera also commented, with the Frenchman writing: "Madueke!!!" as the Spanish international commented: "Yesss."

The goal for Madueke will be a major confidence boost ahead of this weekend's clash with his former club Chelsea.

The 23-year-old came under fire from some supporters after his move across London to join the Gunners, but injury aside, he's made them eat their words.

Speaking after the win over Bayern, Madueke said: "It was a top night, great night. A Champions League night, so it was perfect to get my first goal for the club and for the win on top. It's a perfect night.

"I had a long injury, it was difficult, but today I made up for it. It's amazing. I can't really say much more man, just amazing."

When asked about the significance of the victory, Madueke said: "Yeah, it's massive, it's a massive show. It's massive what we're producing at the moment, not just in the Champions League, but our domestic form and we need to continue at this level and just keep it going.

"The level we're playing at right now is incredible and we need to try and keep adapting, keep pushing it, keep pushing boundaries and that's the only way we can stay there."
