Arsenal take on Port Vale in the third round of the Carabao Cup as they look to progress in a tournament that could end the side’s long wait for a trophy. The cliché of a cold night in Stoke is exactly what awaits the Gunners and plenty of their young starlets and new players.
The cup provides Mikel Arteta the opportunity to rotate plenty of his squad and blood in some of his newer stars too, if they remain fit and are available.
