Burnley have re-signed winger Jacob Bruun Larsen from VfB Stuttgart for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old Dane spent the 2023-24 season on loan at the Clarets during their last Premier League campaign and has signed a four-year contract on his return to Turf Moor.

Bruun Larsen scored six league goals in 32 appearances in his first spell in Lancashire.

"I'm so happy to be back, to be honest. It's a good feeling," he told the club's official website.

"It was a very easy decision for me, once I knew the club were interested, I just knew that I was ready to come back and sign here permanently.

"I can't wait to run out that tunnel again at Turf Moor in a few weeks and see all the fans again."

Bruun Larsen started his senior career at Borussia Dortmund and has also played for Hoffenheim and Anderlecht since making his debut in 2016.

He has seven caps for Denmark, scoring one goal.
