Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Chelsea's Premier League clash with Burnley this afternoon.
Club football is back. The final international break of 2025 is now behind us and the Blues kick off the Premier League weekend at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon - with Enzo Maresca's side desperate to make it three wins on the bounce in the top-flight.
If they can do that in Lancashire, then Chelsea will move to second in the table, with Manchester City and Arsenal both in action later on in the weekend. After wins against Tottenham and Wolves prior to the international break, the Blues are looking to continue such form in the league with a hectic period of fixtures on the horizon.
Burnley, meanwhile, are looking for any sort of points in what is expected to be a relegation battle for the newly-promoted Clarets. After 11 games, Scott Parker's side sit in 17th place in the Premier League table, above West Ham United on goal difference. So, Chelsea go into today's match as enormous favourites, but Maresca will be guarding against complacency from his team.
