Mikel Arteta has provided the latest Arsenal team news ahead of the Gunners' return to Premier League action against Wolves at Molineux on Wednesday night
Arsenal turn their attention back to the Premier League title race on Wednesday evening when they take on Wolves. After comfortably beating Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup on Sunday, Mikel Arteta's side will look to move seven points clear of Manchester City.
The north Londoners are currently four points ahead of Pep Guardiola's men after 26 games, with the two sides still to face each other before the season finishes. This week's game comes four days before Sunday's huge north London derby against Tottenham.
Ahead of the double-header, Arteta has been discussing the latest injury news coming out of the Emirates Stadium. Here, football.london provides everything you need to know about the current fitness concerns...

Riccardo Calafiori
Calafiori has suffered from a number of injuries this season, and he was due to start at left-back against Wigan. But a late change to the XI was forced upon Arteta with Bukayo Saka coming in.
What Arteta has said: "[Calafiori] is fine. He was training with us today, he's feeling better and hopefully he's fit tomorrow."
Possible return date: Wolves (A) - Wednesday, February 18
Ben White
Right-back White was substituted in the second half against Wigan, but confirmed on social media that there was no injury picked up. He wrote on Instagram: "Next round no injuries [ok hand emoji]."
What Arteta has said: "It was just a bit of fatigue [for White], he did a lot in the game, and was feeling a bit of tightness.."
Possible return date: Wolves (A) - Wednesday, February 18
Martin Odegaard
Odegaard missed the cup win against Wigan despite playing 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw at Brentford last week. He was spotted limping after the game and sat out of Sunday's game due to a knee injury.
What Arteta has said: "For Wolves, [Odegaard] is not going to be fit, but for Sunday we are hopeful."
Possible return date: Tottenham (A) - Sunday, February 22
Kai Havertz
Havertz has only just returned from his serious knee injury and netted two goals and a further two assists in four games. However, a fresh muscular problem picked up against Sunderland means he has been forced to miss the last two games.
What Arteta has said: "Kai for the weekend is a possibility."
Possible return date: Tottenham (A) - Sunday, February 22
Mikel Merino
Merino could be forced to miss the remainder of the season after having an operation on his foot earlier this week. Arsenal confirmed in a statement this month that the Spain international faced an 'extended period' out before returning to training before the end of the season.
What Arteta has said: "Doctors were really happy. Starting a long process, you're talking about bone healing. You need to be patient and respect the timeframe. We're talking about months - three, four or five we don't know."
Potential return date: June 2026.
Max Dowman
The youngster has missed the last two months with an ankle injury, but he is closing in on a return to action.
What Arteta has said: "Max is still not available. The rest, we will see when we make the medical meeting. He's doing very well. I think he will be with us in a week or so, and then he just needs to pick up the rhythm and be available for us."
Possible return date: March 2026.
