Manchester City travel to Swansea in the Carabao Cup tonight hoping for a place in the quarter-finals. Pep Guardiola's men have not won this competition since 2021, when they beat Tottenham 1-0 in the final.

City dispatched League One Huddersfield 2-0 away from home in the third round to set up a tie with Championship outfit Swansea. The hosts are having an average season in the second tier, sitting 13th in the table, having equally won four, drawn four and lost four of their 12 league fixtures.

Meanwhile, three Carabao Cup matches took place on Tuesday night. League Two Grimsby Town, who caused the shock of the tournament by knocking out Manchester United in round one, were thrashed 5-0 by Brentford.

Fulham and Cardiff have also already progressed to the last eight, beating Wycombe and Wrexham respectively.

When is the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw?

The draw is set to take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. It will kick-off following the final whistle at Newcastle vs Tottenham, which gets underway at 8pm.

That means the live draw will start around 10pm, although it would be delayed if the tie at St. James' Park goes to penalties.
