Good afternoon and welcome to our Carabao Cup Third Round draw live coverage!

Manchester United take on Grimsby Town at Blundell Park this evening with the winner set for a place in the third round of the competition.

Ruben Amorim and his side know this competition will present an opportunity to win some silverware this season, having reached the quarter-final stage of the Carabao Cup last season.

United were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur at that stage of the competition, but won the trophy back in 2023 under former boss Erik ten Hag.

Having splashed the cash this summer, Amorim will be keen to surpass his successor in terms of winning silverware, and the Carabao Cup is the earliest domestic trophy available.

Manchester City are also set to enter the draw and will be looking to win the competition for the ninth time, and their first triumph in the tournament since 2021.

We'll be bringing you all the important information, including ball numbers, round schedules, dates and times in out live blog below...

When is the third round draw?

The Carabao Cup third-round draw is scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, August 27th, 2025. The draw will be held after Manchester United's second-round clash at Grimsby which kicks off at 8pm.
