Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Chelsea's Carabao Cup quarter-final clash with Cardiff City this evening.
The Blues take on the Bluebirds for a space in the last four of the competition in south Wales tonight. Chelsea, unsurprisingly, go into this one as big favourites but Enzo Maresca is always very vocal about his players not becoming complacent for these sorts of matches.
Cardiff, managed by Brian Barry-Murphy, are top of League One at the moment and have the chance tonight to instigate one of the biggest shocks in the Carabao Cup thus far. From a Chelsea perspective, it is the perfect opportunity to take a big step towards winning the first silverware available this season.
