Kelly Cates will host exclusive television coverage on the BBC as the Scottish nation begins to dream again of World Cup glory on Friday.
As announced in March, the BBC has exclusive rights to broadcast live all Scotland men's international football matches on television and radio in the run-up to the 2026 finals.
Cates, the highly experienced television and radio host who recently became one of the presenters of the flagship Match of the Day programme, will front the studio coverage on TV.
Also well known as the daughter of Scotland, Celtic and Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish, Glasgow-born Cates has already added to the pre-match build-up to Friday's opener in Denmark by interviewing head coach Steve Clarke.
During the exclusive head-to-head, Clarke discussed his memories of watching Scotland in previous World Cups, preparations for this campaign and the challenges in Group C, which also includes Belarus and Greece.

But where can you watch and listen to the game?
When and where on TV and online?
The BBC contract announced in March is part of a wider deal agreed with European governing body Uefa that also includes matches involving Northern Ireland and Wales - the first time the broadcaster has secured live rights for all three of the UK's devolved nations.
It included 14 live Scotland matches, which began with the first leg of the Nations League play-off in Greece on 20 March.
Coverage of all six World Cup qualifiers begins on Friday, when Cates will be joined by a star-studded group of pundits.
Former Scotland internationals Scott Brown and Neil McCann, along with former Denmark forward Peter Lovenkrands, will be in the studio.
Meanwhile, former Scotland forwards James McFadden and Steven Thompson will be joining commentator Liam McLeod from Copenhagen.
The match will be shown live from Copenhagen on the BBC Scotland channel, BBC Two, iPlayer and online.
Coverage on BBC Scotland begins at 19:15BST and at 19:30 on BBC Two.
What about radio coverage?
BBC Radio Scotland will also have full live commentary on 810 MW and online.
Kicking-off at 19:00, former Scotland centre-half Willie Miller will join host Kenny Macintyre and Tom English in the studio, with another national cap, Michael Stewart, providing the analysis alongside commentator Alasdair Lamont from Copenhagen.
