Champions League draw details, special guests and exact timings for Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham

The draw for the league phase of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League will take place on Thursday evening. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham will all find out who their opponents are in the league phase of this season's competition.

This is the second season of the new league phase format, with each team drawn against eight opponents - two from pot one, two from pot two, two from pot three and two from pot four.

There will be eight league phase games for each club in total, with four at home and four away, just like in the inaugural tournament last season - won by Paris Saint-Germain for the first time.

Arsenal are in the draw by virtue of finishing second in the Premier League last season, with Chelsea getting in after finishing fourth. Spurs made their way into this season's competition by winning the UEFA Europa League last season.

Where and when?

The draw will be held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco at 5pm today, but clubs will not find out who their opponents are until some time after that.

There will be plenty of talking about last year's competition and explanations of how the draw and league phase actually works before we get down to the nitty-gritty.

Who is involved?

Broadcaster Reshmin Chowdhury will once again be hosting the event, alongside Pedro Pinto and Giorgio Marchetti.

It has also been revealed that, as usual, there will be "special guests", who are normally former Champions League stars, to pick the balls out of the pots.

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin will be introduced to the audience at 5.03pm UK time.

What is the running order?

After the UEFA president is introduced, we get a little bit of Chelsea love, following their Club World Cup success, with a special Blues guest.

Following a highlights montage and a recap of the format and another highlights reel, the President's Award winner is announced.

Then we get introduced to another special guest, before Marchetti is brought to the stage to speak about the draw. Then it's onto the draw itself.

Pot one will be drawn at 5.31pm, with pot two out at 5.44pm, pot three at 5.55pm and pot four at 6.03pm.

Everything will be wrapped up by 6.10pm.
