Champions League draw in full as Liverpool discovers league phase opponents

The draw for the league phase of the Champions League is currently taking place, with Liverpool set to find out who will stand in its way of a place in the knockout rounds.

The competition was, of course, revamped last year and the changes went down well with supporters. The previous group stage format which comprised eight groups of four teams was replaced with a 36-team mega league, with each team playing eight games against eight different teams.
