Cole Palmer sat out of Chelsea's midweek Champions League defeat to Atalanta in Bergamo but there's hope he should be ready to face Everton this weekend in the Premier League
Enzo Maresca has confirmed that if all goes to plan, Cole Palmer will be back and ready to feature for Chelsea against Everton on Saturday.
The England international playmaker has endured rotten injury luck to date this season and has made just six appearances in all competitions for the Blues.
When quizzed for an update, Maresca said on the 23-year-old: "Yes, he is okay. He is better, he is available at the moment with one more session available. He finished the session with us with a mixed feeling but he is okay."
Palmer missed Chelsea's 2-1 Champions League defeat to Atalanta in midweek as the Club World Cup champions are trying to manage his fitness.

He did, however, make his first start since September 20 last weekend in the goalless draw at Bournemouth.
After the game at the Vitality Stadium, he sat out of Chelsea training on Monday and it was decided that he would not travel.
