The latest Chelsea transfer news in the final few days of the window with the Blues looking to get multiple deals done before the deadline day

Chelsea have various options on the table when it comes to centre-backs this window and the club are considering all of them, football.london understands. The Blues retain an interest in Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet and remain in talks with the French club over a deal to sign the 20-year-old.

Rennes are reluctant to lose Jacquet midway through the season and would prefer a summer sale if any. Chelsea are not the only party with a keen interest in Jacquet, with Liverpool and Bayern Munich also looking at the highly regarded defender.

With the transfer window closing on Monday evening, time is running out for Chelsea to strike a deal with Rennes and other options are also being assessed. One of them being the recall of on-loan defender Mamadou Sarr. The Senegal international has impressed this season at sister club Strasbourg and the fact he has played under Liam Rosenior already means bringing him back to Stamford Bridge is a possibility.

Chelsea recalled Aaron Anselmino from his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund last weekend and could yet send him elsewhere until the end of the season.

Elsewhere, Everton are seriously interested in bringing Tyrique George to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on a loan deal until the end of the season. George has plenty of admirers from the Premier League - as well as from overseas.

Everton are one of them and football.london understands the Toffees have been in talks with Chelsea in recent days regarding a temporary move for the 19-year-old winger after the news that Jack Grealish is set to miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.

George, who came close to moving to Fulham permanently last summer, is yet to feature under newly-appointed head coach Rosenior. Sunderland are also said to be interested in George, who is open to departing Stamford Bridge.

Josh Acheampong has interest in his services but Chelsea are not willing to allow the 19-year-old defender to leave. There are clubs keen on a loan move for the England Under-21 international but the Blues have closed the door on any opportunity. Bayern Munich are long-standing admirers of Acheampong, though his employers see him as a significant part of their project going forward.

Axel Disasi could leave Stamford Bridge before this evening’s transfer deadline. West Ham United are keen on signing the out-of-favour Frenchman on a loan basis, while Chelsea would prefer him to depart for good. AC Milan are understood to have shown an interest in Disasi, who has not played a competitive game for Chelsea in over 12 months, with talks underway between the two clubs.
