Chelsea dealt huge injury scare vs Aston Villa as Liam Rosenior forced to make change

2 hours ago 4

Wesley Fofana appeared to suffer a hamstring injury during the second half of Chelsea's clash against Aston Villa. The 25-year-old defender was replaced by Tosin Adarabioyo in the final quarter of an hour, and he was later spotted limping down the tunnel.

Fofana had gone down a few moments prior to coming off and, after receiving some on-field treatment from the medical staff, he was helped off the pitch. Despite the nature of the problem and his history, he was given the all-clear to come back on.

The France international soldiered on for a few moments before making way for Tosin. During the same break in play, Marc Cucurella was brought on for Enzo Fernandez.
