Chelsea dealt major injury blow vs Man Utd as Liam Rosenior forced to make early change

1 hour ago 22

Estevao Willian appeared to suffer a hamstring injury during the first half of Chelsea's clash against Manchester United. The 18-year-old winger pulled up after chasing a lofted pass behind the opposition backline, and was forced to come off.

After receiving some on-field medical treatment, Estevao signalled to the bench that he was unable to carry on. Liam Rosenior immediately turned to Alejandro Garnacho, who leapt out of the dugout to do a quick warm-up.

Estevao limped off the pitch and headed straight down the tunnel. As it stands, the severity of the potential injury remains unclear, and the Blues boss will be expected to provide an update on the situation after the game.
