Chelsea supporters are already making their feelings clear as Conor Gallagher edges closer to a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are bitter rivals and rarely do business together.
In fact, unlike Arsenal, who almost always seem to trade players with the Blues now and then, one would have to go back to 2001 for the last time Tottenham and Chelsea were in business, when Chelsea agreed to sell Gus Poyet to Tottenham for around £2.2 million.
However, while direct business has not been done between the Blues and the Lilywhites, several players who have played for Chelsea have gone on to feature for Spurs, with William Gallas and Timo Werner among the more notable names.

Chelsea fans react as Tottenham close in on Conor Gallagher transfer
Conor Gallagher could now be on the verge of doing something similar, with reports claiming that Tottenham and Atletico Madrid have agreed terms on a transfer fee, while personal terms with the 25-year-old have also been agreed.
While sections of the Spurs fanbase are pleased at the prospect of Gallagher joining the club, the reaction from Chelsea supporters has been far more hostile, as they are about to watch a player celebrated as one of their own and given a banner join their London rivals.
Taking to social media to voice their frustration, one Chelsea fan wrote: “Oh Conor, what have you done,” while another commented: “Conor refused Aston Villa just to join our rival.” A third added: “And some fans called him proper Chels😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭”.
Others were more critical of the move itself, with one supporter stating: “He is not that good. ATLETICO selling him is obvious as he is not a starter. Choosing Tottenham shows a lack of footballing ambition. He should go to Saudi if money is the only thing he wants.”
There was also sympathy for the midfielder, as one fan wrote: “Been wrongly shipped out by his boyhood club. A club he loved and captained and worked hard at, only to be sold. He’s had a wonderful life experience by playing abroad and now wants to come back to the PL. I’d love him back at Chelsea, but we only buy foreign 12 year olds.”
Another added: “Not Conor, he was forced out of a club he wanted to stay at. Yes, it’s horrible if he signs for Spurs but maybe he just misses the Prem. We can’t hate him for that. He gave everything for Chelsea.”
Meanwhile, one supporter felt Aston Villa should have been his destination, writing: “He should have chosen Villa, they are fighting for 4 different titles unlike Tottenham.”
While another aimed criticism at the club’s ownership, adding: “More like what has Clearlake done? Forced him out of the club for pure profit, to replace him with KDH (also sold).”
Why Gallagher’s move stings Chelsea supporters
Gallagher had the option of joining Aston Villa, who were also keen on signing him and had reached a verbal agreement with Atletico Madrid.
However, Spurs are understood to have pushed for a permanent transfer rather than the loan move Unai Emery’s side preferred, with the Lilywhites bidding €40 million (£34 million) for a deal that was accepted.
It will inevitably sting Chelsea supporters given Gallagher’s academy roots, although Spurs will be hoping this does not turn into another Timo Werner-type deal, as the German’s spell in north London was nothing to write home about.
