Chelsea line-up vs PSG leaked as Liam Rosenior's Champions League comments backfire

There appears to be a mole in the Chelsea dressing room, with the starting lineup often leaked hours before games

The Chelsea starting line-up for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League last-16 against Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly been leaked, leaving Liam Rosenior with egg on his face. The Blues must overcome a three-goal deficit at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night to stand any chance of progressing into the quarterfinals.

According to French outlet Onze, the Chelsea boss had planned to start Wesley Fofana and Trevoh Chalobah at centre-back. But it's said that the former has been experiencing discomfort, so he's expected to be replaced by Jorrel Hato.

If the report is to be believed, it means the west Londoners' team sheet has been leaked hours before a game for the second time this month. On Tuesday afternoon, Rosenior was quizzed on the mole in the dressing room.

The Chelsea boss described the leaks as 'disappointing' and suggested that he'll take action to stop it from happening again. Rosenior said: "I'll be really honest, I haven't even thought about that. It's not the first time it's happened, it won't be the last time.

"I'm not talking in terms of me, I'm talking about any team or any club. I'm focused on winning the game. I was focused on the Newcastle game. These things happen. It's disappointing, but I'm sure it won't happen again."

If Hato were to start, as the report from France suggests, it would only be his eighth appearance at centre-half for Chelsea. The 20-year-old defender, whom the Blues signed from Ajax for £37m in the summer, has predominantly featured at full-back this season.

Although Hato has not featured much at the heart of defence for the Club World Cup winners, he regularly played there for the Dutch giants. If the Netherlands international is given the nod, he'll be tasked with keeping an in-form PSG frontline at bay.

Luis Enrique's side had the weekend off, giving them a week to recharge their batteries and prepare for the tie. On whether PSG have an advantage, Rosenior said: "Obviously, they have more rest. That's natural. That's normal.

"I can't speak about other league schedules or what they do. What I can do is try and make sure that my team and our team are ready to give absolutely everything into this game in terms of the intensity, in terms of the quality that we need.

"Hopefully, we can turn around a difficult scoreline, but not an impossible one."

Rosenior continued: "If you look at the game in isolation, you look at the scoreline, we were punished by some very good players by our mistakes. For us, I think it's been a theme.

"I think we performed consistently very well, but we've been undone in games by moments of focus or concentration. For us to go through tomorrow, we need to be perfect in terms of not making mistakes, in terms of our performance in possession.

"We have to remember that PSG are the European champions for a reason, but we've also shown in times that we can definitely compete and beat them in isolated games."
