Chelsea welcome Cypriot outfit Pafos to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening with Liam Rosenior getting his first taste of Champions League football as Blues head coach
Saturday afternoon was far from perfect, but for Liam Rosenior, it is a day he will never forget. His first win at Stamford Bridge and his first time tasting victory as a manager in the Premier League as Chelsea beat Brentford 2-0 in front of their own supporters.
While Rosenior will be over the moon to get off the mark at Stamford Bridge, there has been very little time for the Blues head coach to reflect on Saturday afternoon, with the west Londoners in action on Wednesday night against Pafos. Chelsea welcome the Cypriot side to the English capital in their penultimate Champions League league phase fixture, knowing anything less than six points from their final two games is unlikely to see them qualify through the top eight.
While Wednesday evening's match is a big one for Chelsea and Rosenior, wholesale changes are expected from the head coach. And, with that being said, football.london writers Bobby Vincent and Jake Stokes have picked the XIs they would choose for Wednesday night's match.

It could be a good chance to rest some players on Wednesday evening. Rosenior won't be taking Pafos lightly, it would be silly to do that against any team in the Champions League, but with the squad the Chelsea head coach has at his disposal, there is certainly scope for some rotation.
Robert Sanchez could drop out, with Filip Jorgensen taking his place in goal. Josh Acheampong should come in for Reece James, who can rest ahead of the Blues' trip to south London to take on Crystal Palace at the weekend, while Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Jorrel Hato make up the back four.
Andrey Santos could come back into the XI to partner Moises Caicedo in the middle. Estevao Willian trained with the rest of the squad on Tuesday morning after the 18-year-old missed the weekend's win over Brentford due to illness, so the Brazilian could return on the right wing.
Enzo Fernandez could be pushed into the No.10 role, with Cole Palmer getting a rest. Jamie Gittens is set to return to the squad after missing the last couple of games through illness, and could start on the left wing. Liam Delap could come back in, in place of Joao Pedro.
Bobby's XI: Jorgensen; Acheampong, Chalobah, Badiashile, Hato; Caicedo, Santos; Estevao, Fernandez, Gittens; Delap

I expect Rosenior to make wholesale changes when Chelsea face Pafos. Sanchez would ordinarily start for the Blues in the UEFA Champions League, but the new boss seems prepared to give Jorgensen a chance to impress – especially with not that many other opportunities to do so in the coming weeks.
Chelsea could very easily field a new backline, with Hato coming in to give Cucurella a rest and Gusto returning from injury. I also expect Rosenior to change the two centre-backs as well: Acheampong deserves some meaningful minutes and Wesley Fofana could do with building his fitness.
With Romeo Lavia out, the Blues essentially only have three senior holding midfielders. Unless Rosenior reshuffles the backline and plays Gusto in the pivot, Santos will probably start alongside one of Fernandez or Caicedo. Looking at the frontline, Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian should be thrown back into the starting line-up. I think as much as Rosenior would like to start Marc Guiu, who made a great first impression on his new boss against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup, and Liam Delap, he'll probably go for the latter and put Joao Pedro in the No.10 role.
That said, in order to give Joao Pedro some rest, I would love to put Estevao in the middle and see Ryan Kavuma-McQueen get a maiden start.
Jake's XI: Jorgensen; Hato, Fofana, Acheampong, Gusto; Santos, Fernandez; Gittens, Joao Pedro, Estevao; Delap
