Chelsea next transfer decided after Hato and Simons as Enzo Maresca awaits £52m green light

Chelsea look set to sanction another new signing and senior exit after finalising deals for Jorrel Hato, Xavi Simons and Joao Felix. Despite only joining the Blues last summer, the latter has already sealed a permanent exit with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr announcing his arrival on Tuesday.

With Chelsea set to bank at least £26.2million (€30m) from the deal, moves for Simons and Hato can seemingly go ahead especially as roughly £150million has been obtained from their Club World Cup triumph alongside selling Noni Madueke and Djorde Petrovic to Arsenal and Bournemouth, respectively.

Having raised quite a significant amount, Chelsea are in a position to sign two of the Netherlands' most exciting talents in Simons and Hato.

Talks for the Ajax defender, having started earlier, appeared to be at a more advanced stage with Chelsea having now finalised a move for the teenager. According to the Athletic, a deal in excess of €40million (£34.7million) has been agreed between the two parties

Following that, all focus will seemingly shift onto Simons with the player keen on a switch to Stamford Bridge. Having been in RB Leipzig training for the last few weeks, the 22-year-old has an advantage over most Chelsea players and Hato if he signs.

Despite having bolstered their frontline through the arrivals of Pedro, Delap and Gittens, Maresca could yet have more attackers in his squad for next season. As per talkSPORT, Chelsea are still pushing to sign Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho.

The Argentine, who is expected to depart Old Trafford this summer, was the recipient of two bids from Chelsea back in the January transfer window and football.london understands there remains a keen interest in the 21-year-old.

To sign Garnacho, Chelsea may need to complete some sales but one marquee departure may do the trick and it is already clear which player can help with that. Having barely featured last season, partly due to injury, Christopher Nkunku looks set to exit Stamford Bridge.

Bayern Munich were linked but look unlikely to make a move having now signed Luis Diaz from Liverpool. A move to Manchester United has not been ruled out, though their focus currently appears to be on Benjamin Sesko.

The Frenchman joined Chelsea back in 2023 for £52million and while it is unlikely that fee is recouped, Chelsea will hope to still take in a decent amount with that then going on Garnacho.
