ARSENAL 2-1 CHELSEA: Full Blues player ratings from the Emirates Stadium after Liam Rosenior's side were beaten with the visitors once again going down to 10 men

Chelsea went head-to-head with Arsenal in a set-piece derby but came out on the losing side while Liam Rosenior's side once again showed a highly concerning discipline problem.

The hosts took the lead on 21 minutes with William Saliba heading in from close range via a corner. Arsenal's physicality in the box was too much for the Blues to deal with as their set-piece defending woes continued.

Chelsea levelled through a corner of their own. Reece James' delivery was flicked into his own net by Piero Hincapie just before the half-time break to send the away end wild.

Predictably, though, Arsenal found their way ahead again through another corner. Jurrien Timber headed in to restore the Gunners' advantage.

Pedro Neto was then shown a red card for being booked twice in quick succession. The Chelsea winger was initially booked for his protests after Arsenal's second goal and was then shown a second yellow for cynically taking down Gabriel Martinelli. Neto's red card was the ninth time Chelsea have had a player sent off this season.

Bobby Vincent was at the Emirates Stadium to bring you the Chelsea player ratings:

Robert Sanchez

A really nervy start for the Chelsea goalkeeper. He was too casual on the ball at the edge of his own box and Viktor Gyokeres almost made him pay but couldn't quite get the ball off him. His sloppiness in possession continued and he seemed to be second-guessing every decision. Poor for Arsenal's second goal, too, as he misread the flight of the ball. 4.

Reece James

James got bullied at the far post by Gabriel Magalhaes, who then set up Saliba's goal. But defending against someone like Gabriel in those situations is incredibly tricky. James' delivery was extremely impressive. There aren't many better crossers of the football in the Premier League and that game showed just that. His corner forces the own goal just before the half-time break. 8.

Mamadou Sarr

A first Premier League start for the 20-year-old defender in place of the suspended Wesley Fofana. A tricky start with Sarr taking too long in possession at times. He improved as the match went on, though. 5.

Trevoh Chalobah

Chalobah did well in a few one-on-one situations with Gyokeres. He also won a couple of crucial headers when Arsenal were flooding the box from corners. 6.

Jorrel Hato

Just his fourth start in the Premier League. A sloppy start from Hato, who kept giving it away needlessly. As mentioned with Sarr, though, Hato did improve as the game went on. 5.

Andrey Santos

Santos was fine, without being extrordinary in there. He battled well in there. 6.

Moises Caicedo

Scrapping for everything out there and more often than not, the Ecuadorian was first to the ball. One of Chelsea's best players. 7.

Cole Palmer

Palmer carried the ball well and often looked as the only one looking for Chelsea to progress up the field. Unfortunately his end product wasn't there. An injury scare in the first half, but he played on. 5.

Enzo Fernandez

Really not Fernandez's best day. He has been great recently but really struggled at the Emirates. Chelsea needed him to be calmer in possession and make better decisions. 5.

Pedro Neto

Neto was often Chelsea's out-ball when counter attacking but he was unable to make the impact desired. These sort of frustrating displays are becoming too common now for Neto. Sent off, really stupidly. 3.

Joao Pedro

The Brazilian was involved in a lot of physical battles with the Arsenal defence. Sometimes he could have been a bit stronger with his hold-up play. Spent too much time on the floor. Was much more of a threat in the second-half which has bumped his rating up a bit. 5.

Romeo Lavia (on for Santos 75')

Good to see him back on the pitch but it was in difficult circumstances. 6.

Malo Gusto (on for Hato 75')

Unable to impact the game too much when coming on 75 minutes into the game. 6.

Alejandro Garnacho (on for Palmer 86')

Almost found the equaliser in stoppage time via a cross. N/A.

Liam Delap (on for Fernandez 86')

Wasted a decent opportunity late on but wasn't on the pitch long enough to get himself a fair rating. N/A.
