BRIGHTON 3-0 CHELSEA: Full Blues player ratings from the Amex Stadium as Liam Rosenior's side lost their fifth successive Premier League match on Tuesday evening

Chelsea have been beaten for the fifth consecutive time in the Premier League with Brighton beating the west Londoners 3-0, putting even more pressure on head coach Liam Rosenior.

If they weren't already, it was audibly crystal clear that the travelling supporters have now turned on Rosenior, who was subject to some negative chants down on the south coast.

The Blues remain seven points behind Liverpool, who occupy fifth-place, with their top-five hopes looking all but over after this latest crushing blow. Brighton have leapfrogged Chelsea, who drop down to seventh in the table.

Brighton went ahead with just four minutes on the clock at the Amex Stadium. Ferdi Kadioglu opened the scoring with his strike deflecting off Wesley Fofana and beating Robert Sanchez in front of the travelling Chelsea supporters.

Something had to change at the half-time break from a Chelsea perspective and Rosenior did alter the shape. The Blues looked a bit more of a threat in an attacking sense but went two goals down not long into the second period.

Jack Hinshelwood, who missed a sitter in the first half, redeemed himself, sliding the ball past Sanchez to double the Seagulls' advantage. Danny Welbeck added Brighton's third in stoppage time to pile on the misery for Chelsea.

Bobby Vincent was live at the Amex to bring you the full Chelsea player ratings.

Robert Sanchez - Makes a really smart save early on to deny Kaoru Mitoma but from the resulting corner, a deflected strike from Kadioglu means he gets nowhere near the ball. Another good save around 15 minutes in to deny Jan Paul van Hecke. It was a great start from Sanchez but he made an almost-costly mistake and had Trevoh Chalobah to thank that it didn't end up in a second Brighton goal. Some crucial saves but poor with his feet. 6

Malo Gusto - Got into plenty of crossing positions but his end product was poor. Too often his delivery would fail to beat the first man. 4

Wesley Fofana - Kadioglu's goal takes an unfortunate deflection off the Frenchman. Other than that, a really poor performance from Fofana, who does not deserve to be in the side at the moment. Subbed at the break. 3

Trevoh Chalobah - A crucial clearance off the line to spare Sanchez's blushes. One of Chelsea's better players but that's not saying much. 6

Jorrel Hato - Chelsea's one in-form player and that showed again. A brilliant moment from Hato not long before half time to slide in and win the ball before being unfortunately denied from going on a powerful solo run up the pitch. Some shaky moments, though, brings down his rating a bit. 5

Marc Cucurella - Lacked composure on the ball, as most in black and white did. Has looked a shadow of himself in recent weeks. 4

Moises Caicedo - See above. His performance levels have massively dropped alongside this terrible run of form that the Blues are in. Fell over for the second goal where he needed to be stronger. 3

Romeo Lavia - Bypassed too easily. It's a struggle to see what he offers this Chelsea side at this moment in time. 4

Enzo Fernandez - The Argentine played in a more advanced role, almost off the striker down on the south coast. Ineffective. Not able to get in the game anywhere near as much as he would have liked. 4

Pedro Neto - His confidence looked shot at times. His decision making was poor as well. Whether it's under instruction or not, he went backwards too often. 4

Liam Delap - Had no service at all, really, yet again. Poor when he did have the ball. 4

Alejandro Garnacho (on for Fofana 46') - Bright. Looked a rare threat in the final third for the Blues. 6

Dario Essugo (on for Lavia 71') - Not able to make an impact. Difficult circumstances to come on in. N/A

Marc Guiu (on for Delap 71') - See above. Has a shot that went narrowly wide via a deflection. N/A

Josh Acheampong (on for Gusto 92') - A couple of minutes. N/A
