The predicted Chelsea line-up for this evening's Premier League clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage with Calum McFarlane taking charge of his second and final game as interim head coach

Chelsea's new head coach Liam Rosenior will watch from the stands at Craven Cottage as his players take on Fulham this evening following his appointment on Tuesday. Calum McFarlane, after leading his team to a 1-1 draw away at Manchester City on Sunday night, will take charge once again as he concludes his short time as interim head coach.

Rosenior is expected to be in charge of this weekend's FA Cup third round tie away at Charlton Athletic as the 41-year-old opens his chapter at Stamford Bridge. Before that, though, Chelsea face a crucial Premier League clash with Fulham tonight.

McFarlane faces some tough decisions regarding his line-up after a spirited display from the west Londoners in Manchester a few days ago. So, with that being said, football.london takes a look at the XI the interim boss might field at Craven Cottage.

Robert Sanchez

Sanchez missed the draw at the Etihad Stadium with a minor injury but could return in goal this evening. McFarlane said in yesterday afternoon's press conference that Sanchez was set to train later in the day and the medical staff would then assess the Spanish goalkeeper.

Reece James

With Charlton the fixture at the weekend, that could be the time to rest James. The Chelsea captain, who McFarlane highlighted the importance of during yesterday's press conference, has been one of the Blues' best players this season.

Wesley Fofana

Fofana missed the draw at City due to an illness. The Frenchman was due at Chelsea's training base in Cobham yesterday for an assessment. Let's hope he is well enough to take at least some part this evening - because, if he is, he should start.

Trevoh Chalobah

Chalobah seems an almost certainty to start - as he has with the majority of Premier League fixtures this term. While we do not know exactly what McFarlane has up his sleeve, it seems fairly safe to assume it will involve Chalobah somehow.

Marc Cucurella

Chelsea have really missed Cucurella and his tenacity over the last couple of games. The Blues might want to be a bit cautious with him given it was a hamstring problem he suffered just after Christmas, but equally they need him back in their back four.

Moises Caicedo

Caicedo was absent for the draw in Manchester as he served his one-match suspension. There is no doubt that the Ecuador international comes back into the midfield for the west London derby tonight.

Andrey Santos

McFarlane has not stopped waxing lyrical about Santos ' display on Sunday. The Brazil international was great when coming on for the second-half, dropping deep to help the visitors in possession and defensively against a very dangerous City attack.

Cole Palmer

We saw Palmer switch to the right wing/right-sided No.10 in the second-half on Sunday evening. It is clearly something McFarlane had been considering pre-match given how he changed things around midway through the game. Perhaps a right wing role for Palmer in Fulham, but he did complete 90 minutes for the first time since September at the weekend, so the Blues might take a cautious approach.

Enzo Fernandez

Santos coming on during Sunday's game allowed Fernandez to push up into the No.10 role. McFarlane might look at that and wish to do something similar, but this time from the start.

Pedro Neto

It was by no means one of Neto 's best matches for Chelsea at the weekend. The Portugal international was extremely wasteful in front of goal but McFarlane could give him a chance to redeem himself at Craven Cottage, the stadium where he scored that memorable stoppage time winner last season.

Liam Delap

Arguably Delap 's best performance for the Blues came on Sunday. Coming on in the second-half, the £30million signing made a real impact for the visitors in Manchester. Joao Pedro could be dropped to the bench.
