Chelsea's hopes of competing for the Premier League title this season were dealt an early blow, as they slipped to a defeat to Manchester United on Saturday night.
The Blues were on the receiving end of a 2-1 defeat to the Red Devils at Old Trafford, which handed Enzo Maresca's side their first loss in the top-flight this term - after a chaotic 90 minutes.
Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro scored the goals for the home side as Chelsea lost their second consecutive match after being beaten by Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek - with Trevoh Chalobah scoring nothing more than a consolation goal for the Blues.
Chelsea saw goalkeeper Robert Sanchez sent-off in the early minutes of the clash against Man Utd, while talisman Cole Palmer was substituted after just 21 minutes with a potential injury.
The defeat leaves Chelsea on eight points after their opening five games and seven adrift of champions Liverpool, who have a 100 per cent record at the summit so far this term.
