Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is thought to be open to the prospect of a January departure due to his lack of regular playing time at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has emerged as a primary January transfer target for Besiktas.
The 23-year-old Dane, who started in place of the absent Robert Sanchez on Sunday in the 1-1 draw at Manchester City, has only made two Premier League appearances this season.
Jorgensen is said to be open to listening to potential offers this month as he's keen to dethrone Kasper Schmeichel as Denmark's No.1 goalkeeper ahead of the World Cup play-offs in March.
That could prove difficult, however, if he remains second in command at Chelsea now the Blues have finalised the appointment of Liam Rosenior on a six-year contract.
Jorgensen, signed from Villarreal for £20.7million in the summer of 2024, is on the radar of Besiktas and the Turkish giants would be willing to make him their first-choice shot-stopper this winter.

Understandably, there are more pressing tasks at the top of their agenda and there are no plans to bring in a new goalkeeper, therefore, it's difficult to envisage how a deal could materialise mid-season.
Besiktas are also said to favour an initial loan, possibly for 18 months, with a permanent transfer option.
It's understood The Black Eagles , who are not the only interested party, are optimistic that Jorgensen would be willing to join the club, providing a deal is struck with Chelsea.
Tottenham's Antonin Kinsky is also admired as an alternative alongside Sporting CP's Rui Silva but similarly, Spurs have no plans to disrupt their goalkeeping setup this month.
Chelsea are already stacked with options between the sticks with the much-improved Sanchez currently operating as their undisputed No.1.
Jorgensen has provided competition and support for the Spaniard and has featured in all three of Chelsea's Carabao Cup matches so far this season.
It remains to be seen whether he'll keep his place in the side for the club's upcoming two-legged semi-final against Arsenal now Rosenior will be in the dugout.
Then there's Mike Penders, currently on loan at Strasbourg and a young prospect that Chelsea have great faith in.
The fact the Belgian has already worked under Rosenior in France could help his bid to remain at Stamford Bridge next season.
Gabriel Slonina is also on Chelsea's books and was part of the Blues' Club World Cup success last summer.
