Chelsea have reportedly put plans in place for several members of their squad to leave the club this summer.
It's already been a busy summer transfer window for the Blues this summer as they look to go into the new Premier League campaign with as strong a squad as possible.
Enzo Maresca's side go into the new season as FIFA Club World Cup champions and have already made six new signings so far this summer.
Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Jorrel Hato, Estevao Willian and Dario Essugo have all been signed by Chelsea this summer and there is still every chance that the Blues are not yet finished with their incoming business.
A report in The Mirror has claimed, though, that Chelsea are already agreed that six players can leave the club this summer.
It has been reported that six players have been made available for transfer by the Blues, with all six able to leave on permanent deals.
Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling and Renato Veiga have all been told by Chelsea that they can leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis this summer, according to the report.
All six players have been heavily linked with moves away from Chelsea this summer, with Jackson reportedly attracting interest from Newcastle United.
Chelsea have already seen several players leave the club this summer on permanent deals with Noni Madueke, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Joao Felix, Lesley Ugochukwu, Armando Broja, Djordje Petrovic, Marcus Bettinelli and Mathis Amougou all leaving Stamford Bridge.
With the potential for more business still to be completed, Chelsea will be mindful that they have until September 1 before the transfer window closes. The Blues are continuing to work on deals for Xavi Simons at RB Leipzig while Alejandro Garnacho is still being linked with a move away from Manchester United.
Chelsea can end the 2024/25 Premier League season on a high, but it is never quiet at Stamford Bridge and the summer looks set to be one full of news, with Enzo Maresca looking for transfer to bolster his squad.
