Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Chelsea's Premier League meeting with Bournemouth this evening.
Fresh off the back of defeat at home to Aston Villa, the Blues play their second successive fixture at Stamford Bridge in the space of 72 hours. The loss to Villa has left a sour taste in the mouth from a Chelsea perspective but they have the chance to at least put some of that right this evening.
Enzo Maresca was unable to explain the reason, or reasons, his Chelsea side have been so often unable to control matches while in the lead this season but will be hoping similar issues do not present themselves tonight. Bournemouth will be hoping to take advantage of the uncertainty at Stamford Bridge with the Cherries taking on Chelsea for the second time in the space of a month.
On December 6, Chelsea went down to the Vitality Stadium and played out a goalless draw with Andoni Iraola's men. The west Londoners will be hoping history doesn't repeat itself tonight.
