England are again indebted to Chloe Kelly after she scored the goal that has the Lionesses in another Women's Euros final.
Three years after her heroics at Wembley Stadium to win Euro 2022, Kelly stepped up in extra time of their semi-final against Italy. Despite goalkeeper Laura Giuliani saving her 119th-minute penalty, Kelly would not be denied and scored the rebound.
That completed the comeback Michelle Agyemang began with a 96th-minute equaliser to take the match into extra-time. They also combined as second-half substitutes to turn around the team's two-goal deficit to Sweden in the quarter-finals, forcing a penalty shootout.
Kelly was one of three England players - Alessia Russo and Lucy Bronze being the others - to score her penalty, and even after erring from the spot against Italy, as against Germany, she managed to score on the rebound. Get to know Kelly the person with our round-up below:
Who is Chloe Kelly's husband?
Days after the Euro 2025 final, Kelly and her husband Scott Moore will celebrate their first wedding anniversary. They married at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire last summer after getting engaged beneath the Northern Lights just before Christmas in 2023.
Kelly recently revealed that Moore is out in Switzerland with the rest of her family. "He's my best friend," she said. "So it's great to have the support of him, my dad and brother ... and it's nice that we get to spend some time together."
However, with their anniversary approaching, Kelly acknowledged: "I haven't even got a card, to be honest. I'm sure in the moment, I'll think of something and get my mum to sort it ... I'm sure Scott has, but I definitely haven't."
Kelly's net worth and salary
Forbes listed Kelly as among the highest-paid players at the Women's World Cup in 2023. She came in at a tie for 11th with Kelley O'Hara and Sam Kerr at £890k; however, her off-pitch earnings of £590k were the seventh highest.
The Mail on Sunday reported after Euro 2022 that she was in line for a luxury sponsorship with Land Rover worth up to £2million. Kelly's on-field earnings were said to be £300k in 2023, but she has since left her then-club Manchester City to join Arsenal on a free transfer this summer after spending the second half of last season on loan.
