Liam Rosenior's men escaped any fresh injury problems in France, but Chelsea saw their hopes of reaching the Champions League quarter-finals crumble after suffering defeat to Paris Saint-Germain
Chelsea face a mammoth task to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals next week after they lost 5-2 to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
Liam Rosenior's men were level at 2-2 up until the 74th minute, when Vitinha calmly lofted the ball over Filip Jorgensen following the goalkeeper's mistake. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia then scored a late brace to put the European champions in cruise control.
Before the second leg of their round of 16 tie next Tuesday, the Blues take on Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday. Rosenior will be hoping to hopefully welcome back one player for the visit of Eddie Howe's men.

With that in mind, football.london takes a look at the latest injury news from Stamford Bridge ahead of the weekend...
Levi Colwill
Colwill hasn't played a minute of football this season after suffering an ACL injury on the eve of the new campaign. The defender underwent surgery for his injury in August and was expected to miss the season.
Colwill could return before the final weeks of the season, but Rosenior has been cautious over his progress.
What Rosenior has said: “Yes, he could [be back before the end of the season] but it’s step by step and I don’t want to make promises that I can’t keep.
“At the moment, Levi’s in a really good place. He’s on the right track but I don’t want to put pressure on him.” (Jan 30)
"Levi is doing really, really well with his long-term rehab," Rosenior said at the end of February.
Possible return date: April/May.
Estevao Willian
The 18-year-old has missed the last five games with a hamstring injury. Speaking ahead of facing Wrexham, Rosenior revealed the Brazilian winger was stepping up his recovery but that the game would come too soon.
What Rosenior has said: “Estevao is back on the pitch, but he is not quite ready for this one. He just needs to clear a few more markers first, and we need to be careful with him given he’s had a hamstring injury. It will be a big boost to have him back with the group.”
Possible return date: vs Newcastle (H), Sat 14 March.
Jamie Gittens
The former Borussia Dortmund winger could soon be back in action after receiving positive scan results. Speaking ahead of Wrexham, Rosenior revealed that Gittens would soon be working with the group.
"Jamie Gittens is getting really close [to a return] and he had a really positive scan," said the Blues' coach. "We hope that he can be back with the group within the next seven days or so.”
Possible return date: vs Newcastle (H), Sat 14 March.
