Crystal Palace vs Liverpool stopped by referee due to medical emergency

3 hours ago 2

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool was momentarily stopped in the 14th minute after what appeared to be a medical incident in the crowd.

Ryan Gravenberch won a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area, but referee Chris Kavanagh brought a halt to its taking. Fans and players waved for medical support from the touchline, and medics ran across the field to help out.

It is unclear at this stage exactly what the stoppage was for, other than there being a concern for someone in the home end. The players waited on the field for the green light to restart, with Selhurst Park staff seen liaising with the fourth official.
