Ebere Eze scored an incredible hat-trick on his North London Derby debut in a 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur

Declan Rice pushed Ebere Eze toward the Arsenal fans after netting his hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur. The winger couldn't contain his joy after completing his treble to send the Gunners six points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Eze justified his decision to snub Arsenal's North London rivals in order to make the move across the capital from Crystal Palace in the summer. The 27-year-old rounded off a convincing Arsenal display as he thumped home his third and the host's fourth of the evening in a dismal day for those associated with Thomas Frank's side.

The forward doubled Arsenal's lead on the stroke of half-time after a five-minute salvo from the Premier League leaders broke the deadlock and took the game away from the visitors.

He doubled his tally for the evening just 45 seconds into the second-half and any hope of a late comeback for Spurs, after Richarlison reduced the arrears, was extinguished when Eze emphatically completed his hat-trick to become the first player to do so in 50 years.

Eze could not believe his luck with a beaming smile, pointing to the sky before thanking god for a dream North London Derby debut.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.

As he was mobbed by his teammates, it was his international and clubmate who shoved him towards the fans to soak up the adulation after a Player of the Match performance.

It comes just a matter of months after Tottenham failed in their pursuit of the winger.

Spurs looked to be on the verge of completing a move for the in-demand Crystal Palace star but Arsenal swooped in to land the 27-year-old in a deal worth £60million.

Speaking recently, Eze said as quoted by The Athletic : "I was prepared to go to Tottenham, but from the moment Arsenal came, it was always going to be them.

"My first (senior) Arsenal game was special. It almost didn’t feel real because it’s something I’ve been dreaming of for a long time.

"Playing for Arsenal from eight to 13, it’s been in the back of my mind wanting to go back. It felt like the realisation of a dream."

It was a dominant day for Arsenal as they earned bragging rights in the derby. Their rivals were consigned to no shots on goal in a dour first-half display from Thomas Frank's side.

Richarlison reduced the deficit with an audacious lob but it was the only bright spark in a dismal day for those associated with Spurs.

Leandro Trossard opened the scoring as he squeezed the ball into the bottom corner before Eze stole the headlines with his treble.

After clubs below them failed to keep pace, Arsenal ensured that they didn't miss out on the opportunity to extend their lead as the pace-setters and they sit six points clear ahead of next weekend's top versus second showdown against Chelsea.
