Arsenal will be facing a nervous wait to discover if Declan Rice will be fit to face Bournemouth this weekend. The Gunners star missed the win over Aston Villa with a knee injury that he picked up in the previous victory over Brighton.
Rice played the full 90 minutes in the win over the Seagulls, but has not featured since for Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta was asked about Rice's injury during his latest pre-match press conference on Friday, where he gave the latest update on the England international’s fitness.
Arsenal go into the clash against Bournemouth with a four-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, and it’s still unclear if Rice will be available for the clash at the Vitality Stadium.

What has been said about Rice’s injury?
Arteta was asked if he had any regrets about playing Rice for the full 90 minutes during Arsenal’s win over Brighton.
The midfielder appeared to signal that he was in pain around the hour mark, but still managed to complete the full match.
"No, no, no. He [Rice] managed to do it. That's normal sometimes,” Arteta said. “You get a hit, and throughout the game you are able with adrenaline, and because you are warm, you are able to sustain that.
"And then the body reacts, and it reacted probably more than we expected, unfortunately. And that's where we are."
Will Rice be fit to face Bournemouth in Gameweek 20?
Fantasy Premier League (FPL) have given Rice a 50 percent chance of being able to feature for Arsenal against Bournemouth.
As a result, it’s still uncertain as to whether or not Rice will recover in time to be named in the Gunners’ matchday squad for the trip to face the Cherries.
“We have another session today, let’s see how he comes today and how that’s feeling, but [the Villa game] was too early for him,” Arteta said.
Elsewhere, Cristhian Mosquera, Riccardo Calafiori and Max Dowman have all been ruled out of Arsenal’s clash against Bournemouth.
