Everything you need to know about Chelsea's injury news ahead of their Premier League clash against Everton on Saturday afternoon....
Liam Delap (Shoulder): The striker was forced off against Bournemouth, but there was thankfully no fractureto his shoulder. Manager Enzo Maresca is yet to provide an exact timeline for his recovery, but current optimism suggests a return potentially in early January 2026 .
Wesley Fofana (Eye): He was substituted during the Atalanta match midweek after taking a boot to the face, which left him struggling to see. Maresca was positive in his post-match update and is hopeful he will be okay and available for the upcoming match against Everton .
Romeo Lavia (Thigh): The midfielder suffered his latest muscle setback in a Champions League clash last month. The manager provided a concerning update last week, stating they do not yet know when he will be back with fears it could be a longer-term absence.
Dario Essugo (Thigh): The young midfielder has been out since September. He was ahead of schedule and training with the team, but a minor setback means he had to take a step back from the matchday squad for the game against Atalanta and upcoming match vs Everton. A potential return could be around Tuesday, December 16 vs Cardiff .
Moises Caicedo (Suspension): The Ecuadorian is set to serve the final game of a three-match suspension against Everton following the red card he picked up against Arsenal. He will be available for the Carabao Cup tie against Cardiff City and the Premier League match against Newcastle on December 20.
