According to an update from Italy, Tottenham may be willing to sell Destiny Udogie for the right fee, but the North London club’s asking price proved too much for a Serie A side.
In his second season in North London, Udogie failed to hit the heights that he did in his debut campaign at Spurs, and there have been some suggestions that he could be on his way out of the club this summer.
Some sources from Italy have claimed over recent weeks that AC Milan were eyeing a move for Udogie as they went in search of a replacement for Theo Hernandez.
In fact, TBR Football even asserted that Udogie was in favour of a return to the Serie A this summer, and that Thomas Frank may have work to do to convince the 22-year-old to stay.
Tottenham name asking price for Destiny Udogie
A new report from Gazzetta dello Sport (22/07/25, page 13) has now revealed Tottenham Hotspur’s stance on Udogie after the Rossoneri made an approach for the defender.
The Lilywhites allegedly informed Milan that they would only listen to offers of €50m (£43.3m) or move for the Italy international.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men did hold preliminary talks with the Premier League side over a deal for the left-back, but in the end, Spurs’ asking price proved too steep for the San Siro hierarchy.
Milan have since wrapped up a deal for Pervis Estupinan in a €19m (£16.4m) deal from Brighton, thus ending their interest in the Spurs man.
What is Udogie’s stance on his future?
Gazzetta say that Udogie is not considering leaving Tottenham this summer, unless he is tempted by a proposal from a bigger club.
The report does not mention if the left-back was in favour of a switch to San Siro, but the former Udinese man was linked with a huge club earlier this summer.
It was reported back in April that Man City were eyeing a move for Udogie, but Pep Guardiola’s men have since signed Rayan Ait Nouri from Wolves.
