Dominik Szoboszlai could be the "perfect fit" for Real Madrid, and Liverpool should be on high alert regarding the transfer chatter surrounding the midfielder, says former Manchester United and Everton forward Louis Saha.
Speculation about Szoboszlai's future with the Reds has been rife over the past week after Hungary manager Marco Rossi told Madrid-based sports outlet Marca that the Liverpool star harbors a "dream" to play for Los Blancos.
This comes after Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. confirmed on YouTube that he keeps in regular contact with Szoboszlai, having established a friendship with the former RB Leipzig player earlier in his career.

And Szoboszlai has emerged as a potential target, along with Paris Saint-Germain's Vitinha and AZ Alkmaar's Kees Smit, among others, being touted. While Real's interest in Szoboszlai is purely conjectural at this stage, Saha believes the Reds should be concerned that Los Blancos are contemplating a move for him.
"Dominik Szoboszlai is a top player, very strong mentally, and covers everywhere on the field," Saha shared with CasinoHawks. "He can defend, attack, score goals, and score free kicks. He is definitely the top man at the moment.

"When you're playing this well, especially at a club like Liverpool at the moment, who don't look like competing for the title, you have to be wary of a team like Real Madrid looking at your players.
"They are still looking at long-term replacements for Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, and Szoboszlai looks to be a good fit if he goes in with Jude Bellingham and Fede Valverde and their other options.
"I imagine they are looking for a player with this kind of capacity to create and disrupt. It does make sense. He could be the perfect fit there. But at the same time, because of what happened with Trent, maybe the Liverpool board won't be happy to lose a player to the same club."
Szoboszlai has more than two years left on his current Anfield deal, but the club is keen to recognize his progress after establishing himself as a pivotal player this season.
Following the 4-1 win over Newcastle earlier this month, Szoboszlai confirmed that talks over a new contract are taking place and expressed his desire to remain on Merseyside for the foreseeable future.
His agent, Matyas Esterhazy, has now spoken about Szoboszlai's future and confirmed that the Hungary captain is "not looking elsewhere" and remains committed to staying at the Reds despite interest from Real Madrid. "It's completely normal for the public, when Dominik is performing like this, to talk about what's next and if there's something higher," he remarked, speaking to Hungarian news outlet NB1.
"For us, it's not a topic. We are mid-season; he has a lot of work ahead of him in the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League. He has said many times how important this competition is for him.
"So, at the moment, to talk about what will happen in the summer, in my opinion, is not correct. Not to mention, Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and Dominik is in a position within the team that has a lot of reserve, so we are not looking outside or elsewhere."
