Eberechi Eze one of four deals Arsenal could complete before Man United clash

Arsenal's plans for the new season are ramping up ahead of their Premier League opener against Manchester United this weekend.

The Gunners will face the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Sunday in their first competitive match of the new season. After an impressive pre-season trip to the Far East, Arsenal will now have ambitions of winning a major trophy next term, with the Premier League one of their main targets.

Part of the preparations for the new season has been making new signings. In total, Arsenal have made six so far this summer with Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard, Cristhian Mosquera, Viktor Gyokeres and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

There is the potential for more to come, with Arsenal having three weeks until the transfer window closes on September 1. But the Gunners may want to get some deals wrapped up before their trip to Old Trafford this weekend.

One signing Arsenal may want to be in a hurry trying to complete is Eberechi Eze. The Crystal Palace star has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer and seems increasingly likely to leave Selhurst park, based on some reports.

However, whether Arsenal will be able to agree a deal is another matter. But in a dream scenario, the Gunners would bring Eze to the Emirates Stadium before the weekend.

In terms of departures, Arsenal could see some members of their squad depart over the next few days. Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior and Reiss Nelson have all been linked with moves away from North London and could leave on permanent deals over the next few days, if deals are agreed.

Nelson has been linked with a return to Fulham after spending last season on loan at Craven Cottage. However, the forward underwent surgery on a hamstring injury in February, but could be on the move again ths summer.

Zinchenko has also been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer, with Fenerbahce mentioned as a potential destination. Kiwior is also reportedly attracting interest from abroad, with Porto said to be looking at a deal to sign the Gunners defender.
