Arsenal are all-set to play Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday night - but could have a few players on the side-lines due to injury.

Arsenal and Brentford could have some players on the side-lines when they meet in the Premier League.

The Gunners will host the Bees at the Emirates Stadium as they strive to secure another important three points in their quest to win the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta's squad have a two-point lead at the top of the table over Manchester City, who are in second place and have played a game more after their dramatic 5-4 victory over Fulham.

Arsenal have been forced to deal with several fitness concerns throughout the season, so far, but the club's injury list has started to ease in recent days.

Martin Odegaard and Noni Madueke recently returned to full fitness after lengthy spells on the side-lines.

Viktor Gyokeres also made his return from a muscle injury with a cameo appearance against cross-London rivals Chelsea, while Gabriel Jesus made his awaited return to be named on the bench for their trip to Stamford Bridge.

However, Gabriel Magalhaes is still not ready to return to action as he continues to recover from a muscle injury.

"Gabi's doing very well as well, but that's weeks as well," Arteta said this week.

Kai Havertz is also expected to be on the side-lines with Arteta stating the Germany international is still "weeks" away from returning to action.

"Let's see how it works in the next few weeks," Arteta said. "He's doing really well. He's doing stuff on the pitch, he needs some time."

William Saliba and Leandro Trossard are also doubts for Arsenal after picking up injuries in the last week.

"I'm not going to be able to help you much today, because we have another training session later on," Arteta said when asked about Saliba's fitness.

"Until that happens, we won't know what's going to happen with a few of the doubts that we have."

As for Brentford, the visitors will also have some players on the side-lines for when they take on Arsenal.

Fabio Carvalho is ruled out for the rest of the campaign after suffering a knee injury, while Josh Dasilva is also recovering from an ACL injury.

Reiss Nelson is unavailable to face Arsenal while on loan with Brentford due to the Premier League's loan rules, while Antoni Milambo is also unavailable due to injury.
