Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon as the Blues look to put their recent woes behind them and secure their first win of December. It all started with a defeat to Leeds United last week, and then a dire trip to Bournemouth ended in a goalless draw.
The west Londoners' European adventure looked as if it could have been a sweet release for a while, with the Blues a goal to the good against Atalanta in Bergamo, though the Italians managed to turn things around and win 2-1 at the New Balance Arena.
So, Chelsea will try again tomorrow afternoon with an in-form Everton, who have won four of their last six league games, the visitors to west London. Before all of that, though, head coach Maresca will face the media in Cobham this afternoon (12pm UK time).
