Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Enzo Maresca's post-match press conference after Chelsea's 2-1 defeat to Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues missed the chance to go as high as second in the Premier League table with the Black Cats fighting back to pick up all three points in west London. Alejandro Garnacho gave Chelsea the lead within four minutes on Saturday afternoon with the Argentine scoring his first goal since making the £40million move from Manchester United over the summer.
Chelsea, however, were undone by a long throw later in the first-half when Wilson Isidor converted from close range. Maresca spoke on Friday morning about his side and their need to defend long throw-ins but they were unable to do that very well this afternoon.
The Blues pushed for the decisive goal in SW6 but Sunderland were the ones who came away with the victory. Chemsdine Talbi's winner deep into stoppage time to decide the match, with the hosts being hit on the counter-attack.
Maresca is due any moment now to conduct his post-match presser. Stay tuned, with Bobby Vincent on hand to bring you live updates from Stamford Bridge.
